Labyrinth Jewel

I went to my hallowed space, Bancroft Meadow’s Labyrinth;

Just a little passed Noon to seek calm and reprieve among the magnificent evergreen trees.

Bear Creek sang a placid, winter song – softly rolling over the smooth stones.

In the crunchy snow, there was one pair of adult footprints alongside a young childs’.

Evergreen tree perfumes the clear mountain aires.

Mild, mid-day sun shafts stream through the evergreen boughs.

The lady labyrinth embracing her essence had a pure white blanket of love.

The cloud cover was light and scattered in the pale blue heavens.

After my nerve wrecking night, my peace and tranquility has been renewed by the labyrinth jewel.

I gathered a couple of evergreen pine cones and blue spruce, to remember my blissful moments spent there.

In my heart honored place, I remember dearly my Honey Bear and Mom on this holy day.

Restful sleep I will be able to grasp once my few tasks are completed.

My earthly sanctuary always brings me back to a compassionate center.

AMEN ~

Return to Bancroft Meadow Labyrinth (Evergreen, CO)

In the embrace of the Evergreen Tree arms,

outstretched, I’ve finally have returned again To my holy place ~

Pristine blue sky above my head ~

Bear Creek speaks softly and in subtle tones as it meanders in the natural wilderness.

The red clay labyrinth complete draws Me into calmness and oneness (no matter what the external universe might bring my way!)

Gold daisies greeted me on Highway 74

Everblowing, ever-growing papyrus grass remains still in the warm mid-day sun.

Cool, intermittent breezes light on one’s face, I’m in a total state of unending grace.

Monarch butterflies occasionally catch my eye ~

I just want to breath in deep all the clean mountain air and let worries dissipate ~

This moment is transformative

I’ll be able to go home and lie my head upon a pillow

and find wondrous healing

sleep from within and without ~ AMEN

Evergreen Refuge

Evergreen refuge

Is calling me into silence ~

where have you been, my friend?

Blue spruce and pine sigh

strong ponderosa trees reach for the infinity blue heaven.

Evergreen sanctuary

Amber grasses pick up the worn dust on my tied tennis shoes.

Bear Creek only whispers - “SLOW DOWN - ENJOY THE VIEW”

Embraced in evergreen perfect harmony.

Evergreen cathedral

Praises the Higher One, everyday.

In a divine orchestrated pattern of God’s eternal love

Creatures great and small take the moment

to acknowledge all of the great mystery.

In my evergreen refuge

Everything stands still.

The re-connection among the glorious Spirit is revisited by God’s grounding of the trees.

Pine cones are scattered ~

Beautiful blue skies reign in the day ~

Everything moves full circle to complete delight ~

Pausing steps only reflect the power that dwells here ~ AMEN
