Imago Dei: Original Blessing, Original Beauty
In the Scriptures we are taught to see ourselves reflected as God sees us—as Blessing and as Beauty. This retreat will offer us an opportunity to reclaim our identity as made in the image and likeness of God: Imago Dei. Through a series of prayer practices and by walking the labyrinth, we will release those things which keep us from seeing ourselves clearly, receive grace freely and return to our original identity as beautifully made. We will explore the origin of labyrinths, an ancient practice of walking life’s path, and learn about the history of the labyrinth on the Church of the Transfiguration Campus.
The retreat will be facilitated by Maria Rosa Galter and Janelle Mebust.
The registration cost is $30 and includes a light breakfast, catered lunch and materials. Sign up in the back of the church or by clicking here. Payment may be made through the office or on the website: transfigurationevergreen.org. Click on the Giving tab.
