IN OTHER NEWS…
Annual Coat Drive – Our 4th annual coat drive, which benefits our EChO clients, is in full swing! Please bring your gently used coats, hats, sweaters, gloves and scarves to church and place them in the Coat Drive Box by November 24th.
Reminder when Locking up Buildings – If using the key from the lockbox to get into a building, please remember to shuffle the tumblers to ensure the box is locked!
Sunday Social Time – A Big Thank You to Pat Magerkurth who has volunteered to be the new SST Coordinator. If there are kitchen supplies that are needed, please contact Pat at firstname.lastname@example.org or write the needed item(s) on the clipboard hanging on the wall in the kitchen.
8 AM Service Lectors Needed – The 8 a.m. service is in need of more Lectors! If you are interested, please contact Larry Kilborn at email@example.com.
Transportation Ministry - There are a few dear folks in our church who are no longer able to drive themselves to and from church. In order to bring them to worship with us, there is a group of us who sign up to volunteer for a once a month "duty" to bring them to church for the 10:15 service and take them home. Our committee is growing smaller and we are needing more volunteers. Please consider help out with this important ministry for our aging folks! Contact Marcia Younger at firstname.lastname@example.org.
InReach Program at COT – In our Apr. Newsletter, we talked about starting an organized structure for caring for people in our community by assisting with meals and other short-term needs. There are two ways you can help – one is to be on the email list that will go out for an identified need and two, you can sign up on Sign up Genius to help. Contact Pat Magerkurth email@example.com, Georgine Mccarthy firstname.lastname@example.org, or Kit Snyder email@example.com to let them know of people who need an extra hand.
